Crisis Navigator
United Against Poverty has an opening for a Crisis Navigator at the nonprofit's Fort Pierce location.
UAP's Crisis Stabilization Program is one of the organization's four core programs. The Crisis Navigator will provide support to the Crisis Stabilization program and support to the full Programs team through participant care, case management and community outreach. Pay range is $17.50-$19/hour.
Responsibilities include but are not limited to aiding persons in need regarding crisis situations, guiding participants, following a strict mandated process for qualifying participants with financial assistance, creating immediate action plans for resource connection, providing case management & planning services, maintaining accurate and timely case management documentation.
Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience required, plus 3-5 years experience in a similar program or nonprofit role.

The Walmart Distribution Center in Fort Pierce is hiring full-and part-time Power Equipment Operators.
Job responsibilities include transporting freight, pulling merchandise, replacing freight, fills daily orders, and controlling freight flow when operating moving equipment in a safe and correct manner, plus transporting and delivering freight onsite to appropriate areas of the facility in an accurate and timely manner via tractor/trailer.
Minimum job requirements include possession of a valid state-issued driver's license and 6 months experience operating tractor/trailer units. Compensation is from $14.85-$28.65/hour plus performance incentives.
Work at the distribution center is very physically demanding with an extremely high focus on safety.. The operators drive power equipment and lift heavy cases in extreme climates. The flow of freight is very fast-paced, and productivity expectations are high.

City Surveyor & Asst. City Surveyor
The City of Port St. Lucie has openings for a City Surveyor and an Assistant City Surveyor. The starting pay scale is $90,068-$114,837/year, depending on qualifications, for the Surveyor and $81,695-$93,949/year for the Assistant Surveyor.
Both positions provide surveying and mapping services to the city's utility department, plus other departments as needed, and participate in the development of the new GIS system. The Surveyor also manages the Survey Group in the Public Works Department.
Minimum qualifications for the positions include, but are not limited to, possession of a Florida Professional Survey and Mapper (PSM) License, a bachelor’s degree in land surveying, geomatics, civil engineering, or comparable field, 5 years of progressively responsible supervisory experience, 3 of which were in a field related to engineering and/or computer mapping and surveying, and a clean driving record.

In coordination with the county’s IT Division, the manager selects, configures and maintains hardware, software and associated peripherals so that library patrons and staff have access to functionality including the online public access catalog, circulation, acquisitions, cataloging and more. Thorough understanding of Ethernet network functions, knowledge of current/ emerging trends and technologies and of modern professional library principles, practices and procedures.
